The Role
Shine is seeking a Treasurer to join its Board and support the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability and good governance.
Alongside the general duties of a charity trustee, the Treasurer provides non-executive financial oversight and assurance and serves as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. The role plays a central part in ensuring Shine’s financial governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance are robust, transparent, and aligned with best practice in the charitable sector.
The Treasurer works closely with the Board, CEO, and Head of Finance, while maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries between governance and operational management.
