Ray Burke

Ray Burke is Head of Communications and Strategic Engagement with Shine, a national organisation working to improve the lives of people affected by mental health difficulties, and their families and supporters, through support, advocacy, education and stigma reduction. Before joining Shine, he was Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Engagement with Pieta. He previously worked as Head of Communications and Advocacy with Mental Health Reform and as Policy Project Officer with the Disability Federation of Ireland, as well as in other roles across the voluntary and community sector.

Ray holds an MSocSc in Rights and Social Policy from Maynooth University and an MLitt in Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice from University College Dublin.
