Ireland in Conversation: Let's Talk Workplace Mental Health

Wednesday, 9th September - 12.30pm-1.30pm

Creating a mentally healthy workplace is about more than having supports in place - it is about creating a culture where people feel valued, supported and able to speak openly about mental health without fear of judgement or stigma.

In this webinar, we will explore what it takes to build a workplace culture that supports positive mental health and wellbeing. We’ll consider the importance of psychological safety and open conversations, the role we can all play in challenging stigma, and how listening to and learning from lived experience can help shape more meaningful and effective workplace supports. We’ll also look at the practical role that employers, managers, team leaders and wellbeing champions can play in creating change - recognising that mentally healthy workplaces are shaped not only by policies and initiatives, but through leadership, everyday behaviours and the way we respond to one another.

Because mental health is everyone’s business - and creating a supportive workplace culture is something we all have a role in.

Panellists:
  • Aisling Foley, Shine Workplace Trainer
  • Tracey Powell, HR Professional An Post Insurance
